Choreography Notation (1700)
Choreography Notation (1700)
The image is a recreation of an image extracted from the latter half of Choregraphie, a book first published in 1700.
Its author, Raoul-Auger Feuillet, was maître de danse of the French King.
The original book, including a beautifully illustrated explanation (in French) of the notation system, can be viewed here.

As physical spaces remain shut and audiences head online, we have tried for the first time to hold an Instagram-based exhibition, @go.around.pop.
To add extra depth and interactivity, we created a short video of backstory for each item. This backstory video is 19 seconds long without sound.
