Tumbling Toy- Chestahedron
Tumbling Toy- Chestahedron
This is a tumbling toy inspired by “the chestahedron”, named after artist Frank Chester. The chestahedron is a geometrical form associated with the human heart and the earth.
Since 2017, we have had conducted a study of the movement of the body in space based on structures and geometric projections. A series of large scale Chestahedrons, and small scare Chestahedron were created as part of the study, to attempt to understand natural movements and geometricized them, in looking for a new scale and explore the “harmonic” three-dimensional human movement patterns.
Design: Xiaoman Ren

As physical spaces remain shut and audiences head online, we have tried for the first time to hold an Instagram-based exhibition, @go.around.pop.
To add extra depth and interactivity, we created a short video of backstory for each item. This backstory video is 14 seconds long without sound.
