MMAG Foundation
Founded in 2017, The MMAG Foundation strives to contribute to the future of art practice and pedagogy by drawing on historical encounters and contemporary issues alike. Through art, it works to facilitate opportunities to shape responsive approaches to learning, knowledge-making and modes of dialogue. The foundation provides a space for artistic research, production and critical discourse through its exhibition program, educational projects and residency spaces.
IDEA Festival
Launched in 2019 by Jordanian performing arts company Studio 8, IDEA – International Dance Encounter Amman, is an independent bi-annual multi-disciplinary dance festival based in Amman.
Through supporting, producing, and presenting works for local emerging artists, together with a network of international and regional partners, IDEA festival serves as a platform for innovation, experimentation, and continuous development of dance culture in Jordan and beyond.
